Referred to David?

If a client, coworker, professional, friend, or family member suggested that you speak with me, this page explains what to expect.

The introductory conversation is an opportunity to discuss what prompted the referral, the financial questions you want to address, and whether my planning process may fit your needs. You do not need to arrive with every document or decision already organized.

Helpful information to bring

  • Your primary questions or concerns
  • A general picture of income, savings, debts, and workplace benefits
  • Important family or business changes on the horizon
  • The name of the person who referred you, if you would like to share it
  • What happens next
  • If we decide to continue the conversation, I will explain the planning process, the information that may be needed, and the next steps. There is no obligation to make a decision during the introductory conversation.
